I’ve been on a sushi kick lately. Last weekend, I had sushi 3 nights in a row.
Michaela and I went to Union Sushi after taking a kickboxing class. It was amazing.
Shrimp Tempura Roll
Union Sushi was so good, I wanted more. The next night, CJ and went to Sushi Dokku on Randolph Street.
Seared Salmon Roll
Green Tea Cheesecake
I wasn’t nearly as impressed with Sushi Dokku. The rolls were overpriced and service was extremely slow. Because we felt this place was lacking, CJ and I got sushi again the next night…from an old-y and known good-y, Butterfly Sushi Bar.
Our favorite – Salmon Avocado Rolls.
I actually really wanted sushi again last night, but figured I should expand my palate…could you eat sushi everyday like I could? (I didn’t like sushi until college, when I discovered mixing wasabi with soy sauce really helped to develop the flavor. I started eating California rolls and veggies rolls – wouldn’t touch the raw stuff. Then, a few years ago, I tried my first raw fish roll. There was no going back after that!)
