I blame winter and its dreariness. I think that’s why I felt compelled to buy an orange-y red purse and brown/orange sunglasses.
A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing sales at Nordstrom.com, and I came across these sunglasses and a pair of jeans.
My sister Lily “borrowed” my Marc Jacobs aviators two years ago, so I’ve been alternating between a pair I got from the Gap, (one of the lenses keeps falling out) a purple pair from New York & Company, (which I like) and a neon green pair I got at a booth at a conference. They make me look like a bro. Just sayin.’
Anyways, time to upgrade.
Well, the jeans didn’t really work out. They fit okay, but weren’t really flattering. So today, I went to return them…and I ended up with this bag.
It wasn’t quite as impulsive as a purchase as it seems. I’ve been thinking about getting the Marc Jacobs Percy crossbody for a while now. The red/orange was on sale, so I went for it.
On the other hand, I may or may not have also bought 4 clutches since December…
